EGMS: Open House
We had a great turnout on Thursday, September 3! Parents came to school to experience a brief snapshot of what it's like to attend EGMS.
Grade Six Math and the 5 C's
In Mr. Simeone's class, students were working with the EGPS' Portrait of a Graduate pillars (i.e. the "5 C's") in small groups. Their brains were working hard when they were trying to find out how many hot dogs it would take to build a bridge across the Mississippi River or how many golf balls would fit inside a school bus!

EGMS Advisory: The 3 B's
We spent some time reflecting on what it means to "Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Responsible" during our advisory block today at EGMS. Students in all grades were engaged with all of our faculty and staff to establish these norms and renew the relationship guidelines that make this community work! It was a great way to cap the first week of school and to start the rest of the journey of 26-27!
EGPS Convocation
Teachers and staff were welcomed back to school one day prior to the first day of school for students, and we had three special guests from EGMS there to ring in the new year! Many thanks to EGMS's Emma Dion, Dylan Hamilton, and Lincoln Thompson for the kind words, inspirational messages, and belly laughs to kick off the positive spirit in our district and at our school!
